These speakers look great and sound great. However, they are not for the faint of heart. To install them you will need to cut a hole about 12" x 9" in the wall. I put a layer of Rockwool insulation in the wall before installing it so it doesn't resonate with the wall. It also reduces the possibility of hearing them on the other side of the wall, which for me is the kitchen, but for you it could be the bedroom or some other place you don't want to fill with sound. They have connectors with spring terminals. back and I threw the speaker wire down the wall. I cut a hole and soldered the other end of the speaker wire to an audio board with spring clips on the underside of the wall under each speaker at the same height as the jacks to give it a finished look. Connect your amp to the spring terminals and you're done!
