FAST but DEAD in data storage
Ultra fast over USB-3 in RAID 0 to my iMac - 1.7 gigabits per second transferring files with Thunderbolt RAID. Just received it today so can't confirm durability etc but I'm very happy with the speed. It has an internal fan that's very quiet, which is nice, although it still gets a little warm when you're working hard. Since I'm using USB, I'm also getting power from an external power adapter, which isn't the most convenient thing in the world, but I can't complain about that. Turn on the power. stone dead. Terribly uncomfortable. and even if I chose redundancy in RAID 1, I still wouldn't have any luck. I contacted support but I need a working product today.
