
Warning: I'm a hobbyist, not a professional welder. Similar experience with another reviewer. I had no reduction in argon flow with this setup, there was no noticeable difference in coverage, and the pyrex cup took too much effort to get it to work with my torch (looked like 1/2mm smaller?) . Also, I don't know if I'm used to this or what, but something seemed "strange" using these parts that I couldn't pinpoint. I just didn't get the arc I was used to, even with all other variables being the same. Plan to use a gas lens or a pyrex dish. Is it at least cheap enough that you should take the risk?
