I have purchased several of these lighting kits. Under kitchen cabinets, under organizer cabinets, even in the laundry room under cabinets/shelves. I didn't use the "remote" features / just plugged into a dedicated "switched" outlet [I connected the power]. To hide the wires and give it a "clean" look. I used aluminum tape to secure the wires under each shelf. The tape is not visible. Prevents wires from "sagging" downwards. I would highly recommend these dimmable LED under cabinet lighting kits. Simple and effective! ps I tested the removed functions. Pretty cool !
