In general, the case is normal. I bought this for my daughter's iPad and she drops it a lot so I needed something to protect it. This case seems to do the job, but when it comes to the stand I'm not impressed. It is very thin and falls off easily. For some reason it is also very difficult to open. The handle hole to fold down the stand is small and the stand often feels stuck. It is very inconvenient to open, the finger hurts. I don't like the built in case either, but I suppose it's a must if you want it to be waterproof. If that is not important to you, I would advise you not to take this case.
