Inexpensive disposable pads
I bought these as disposable exercise pads for experimentation and fun. They have a rough surface with very little plaster coverage. My acrylic paints have soaked into the panel, exposing the texture of the underlying canvas and sometimes twisting the entire panel. 2-3 additional layers of plaster completely eliminated these problems. For my purposes and the price is quite suitable.
