I did a cross country trip with professional movers and although they had mats I wanted more protection and more coverage in places they wouldn't put mats or don't like stairs. The house we moved into had brand new hardwood floors that scratch/dent easily. Even a crate being moved over it will scratch it. This material is best when two people put it down, but you can handle it yourself once you get used to it. It's like cling film. We've found that a dry rag helps smooth skin while you move rather than using your hands. I would say the wrapper worked as expected. It's no miracle wrap and it ripped off the movers' handcarts in a few places (I just taped the tears over with construction tape until the movers were done) but it definitely helped protect my floors. Everything went fine with the removal. I even had some areas that I hadn't removed for over a week and everything went fine with no damage.
