Just assembled the stool and was surprised at how short it was at max height. When purchasing the stool, my minimum seat height requirement was 30". This stool seemed to fit the bill after looking at the chart, and "Rise to 30" Height" was just right for my lowest effective height for my workspace. However, the 30" maximum height refers to the TOP OF THE HORN, not the HEIGHT OF THE SEAT. With the stem fully extended, the seat height is only 28". However, the seat is very comfortable and the wheels move easily. On a tiled Floor it was easy to put together and seems surprisingly strong and stable considering its light weight.It arrived in perfect condition on all surfaces and was well packaged with materials to prevent it from being damaged in transit.Fortunately the lower height suits my husband , so he'll keep it and I'll have to look for a higher stool.
