It has been a years long battle in my house. I'm a bit hard of hearing and so while watching TV/movies, I have to have the volume up to hear what is said. However, when the music or action parts come on, it blows the roof off my house and my family members immediately reach for the remote and turn it down. When the music part stops, I have to grab the remote back and turn it up again.it's been never ending.until I found this speaker! At first I wasn't that impressed and considered returning the speaker because it sounded tinny. My boyfriend finally figured out how to properly use it. There is a volume control that you set, and then the Accuvoice can be adjusted up to make voices more pronounced, and the music doesn't get louder. They should really include in depth instructions. I wonder how many people returned this gem without really experiencing it properly? I highly recommend this. There is now peace in my home, LOL!
