I only use Sandisk SD cards and have never had any problems with them. So far it has been like this. I just bought a Surface Book 2 laptop with a built in SD reader. but I wanted to use it to store a permanent microSD card and use this adapter to transfer content to it. The price is great. The design is great (no extra large USB cable and hub. No multi-card reader. Just a regular SD reader with a USB slot on the other end). Unfortunately, the card slot is incredibly small. Even with my Sandisk Extreme SD cards, it was too small. One of them managed to get inside. but the second actually split in half because it was pushed in. and I was careful with him! I read the warnings before purchasing. I knew what I was getting myself into. I was hoping this was user error, but the reader is actually too small. I don't know how they screwed it up!
