Pros: - It cleaned the built in non-slip patches on the tub without the usual scraper. - It has a long flexible hose. - I think the steam disinfects. Cons: - It hasn't cleaned anything I've tried including slightly dirty shower grout, shower tile, floor tile corners and grout, light stains on countertops. He didn't even loosen the tub ring enough to wipe it off. I still had to rub it as much as I would without using a steamer. It certainly didn't remove even the lightest of mineral deposits on shower glass or tile (which I wasn't expecting, but some reviewers claim it worked on those deposits). - The connector cable is very short. - Since the narrow focus nozzle wasn't powerful enough for even a fairly minor cleaning, I can't imagine reducing the power of the steam jet by augmenting it with other nozzles that I haven't tried. - It takes a long time to heat up and you have to wait a long time before you can remove the lid to refill the machine. In the time it took me to start the car and fill up the tank, I was able to do all my cleaning by hand. - The handle has become hot after a short time. It wasn't too hot, but close. I bought this machine because I have a floor standing steamer that is easy to use and cleans well. However, this one is already on my porch, waiting to return to Revane.
