I bought this product after carefully researching all the options online. I needed a shoulder strap as the neck strap that came with my Nikon D5300 was uncomfortable and obtrusive. The Custom SLR Glide is a well-designed, easy-to-use harness that appears to be made from quality materials, so I suspect it will be durable. The Glide was very easy to attach to the camera with a screw mechanism that fits into the tripod thread. I found the strap to be fully adjustable despite some other reviews and I was able to easily adjust it to my 5'6" height with the option to shorten it further. Even with a 55-300mm lens, the camera hung by my side very comfortably for a full day of touring, and the slide design helped me capture every shot! The adjustable slide stops were also helpful as they kept the camera on my waist when I wasn't holding it. The padded shoulder strap was very comfortable but had to be pulled straight every time to keep it flat and the slider mechanism worked smoothly. Also note that the strap is attached to the tripod socket, so obviously you can't use the tripod without removing it. Both of these criticisms are minor as I usually straighten one of the straps as I put them on and I don't think I will ever use a strap and tripod at the same time. My only other issue is the price, but if you're investing thousands in cameras and lenses you should be prepared to shell out the same amount for a reliable and durable strap. Overall I am very happy with the Custom SLR Glide and would definitely recommend it.
