Review on TORCHSTAR Daylight Non-Dimmable Bathroom Dressing Light by Brittney Reynolds

Originally purchased to replace 40w incandescent, some soft white and partial daylight and later locally purchased 60w 2700k LEDs. The 60W LEDs were too bright and too yellowish. The brightness of these 40w lights is perfect for my modest 6 light master bath. Color at 3000K is also perfect. Slightly bluer than the 2700K bulbs they replaced, but not blue enough to look like commercial lighting like 5000K or 6000K. A word of caution, in my experience almost all LED lights have an unusual quality compared to incandescent bulbs that takes some getting used to, but this TORCHSTAR product does not distort the color of the walls in the room like other lights I have tried . Hum and hum complaints I've read about, they don't make a sound. I can't comment on durability as they've only been installed for a few days. I would like TORCHSTAR to offer a package or two to backup and replace a lamp as I have found that 40w, 3000k lamps are not available locally. I'll keep the lightbulbs just in case. One star off because the packaging was annoying. The box was relatively small, which allowed the bulbs, stacked in a cardboard insert, to alternately touching from head to toe and tapping a little. Maybe I would feel better if everyone was wrapped in paper or a thin sheet of plastic. I wonder if this is at the heart of the complaints about the lamps being DOA.
