The best 5K monitor for Mac

I bought this monitor to pair with my iMac Pro and now my 2018 Mac mini. The monitor is excellent. While the iMac Pro 5K Retina display still unchallengedly wins the race in every detail of picture and sound, this LG 27MD5KA-B or 27MD5KB-B is the only monitor available that comes close to the iMac's own 5K display. Even my latest 34-inch 5K LG display (LG34WK95U) from my shot list has a white back and lower total pixels/resolution than this 27MD5KA-B. Space gray Mac mini, even the monitor stand is a bit reminiscent of an iMac. That's why I didn't get their latest 34-inch 5K screen, I just didn't like its stand. I don't know why they didn't go for an aluminum body, but you can see the collaboration between Apple and LG. The sound is loud, there isn't much bass. Monitor, but high frequencies and lower mids. So far I'm happy with my purchase and haven't had any problems. My manufacturing date is August 2018 and I bought it from the Apple Store at retail price. I really didn't want to buy this monitor. got another one at this point though as no one but Apple knows if they will ever release their own monitor in the near future. And if I were to risk not buying it and wait until next year to see if Apple bring something, that's fine if they do, but if they don't I'm totally screwed and by then it might all be gone and I only see them on eBay or other marketplaces for a ridiculously insane 3x their RRP or something like that. Ignore all those crazy comments that the monitor is stunning. Well, you won't argue with that. The case is plastic, not aluminum, so what do you expect from it? In any case, however, it is not a 5-star product that is complete in all aspects. But it's still the best option if you want to pair something with your iMac 5K Retina, MacBook Pro, or Mac mini. There is currently no other option of this quality. It doesn't matter if you get the A or B series, both are technically the same as far as I know and I think the production date is February 2018.
