I have these on two cars now. Good product. Before that I destroyed several scrapers without backup. Tighten the screws and tighten the lock. They tend to loosen and twist. Then they stop lifting snow. Haven't lost any yet. save her In fact, I hold them back almost all the time. During storage, the cable section will flex, allowing it to remain elevated above the snow/ice when lowered again. In this case, however, you can slip a wrench in and bend them back. I thought they would be expensive. The first set I bought a few years ago was a lot cheaper.
