Review on Benro Mach3 Aluminum Tripod TMA47AL by Cameron Head

I bought this TMA47ALB4 tripod after much research and it was one of the very few tripods that met all my needs. I needed a tall (mine is 6ft 6in) stable tripod without having to lengthen the center column (I only use it for fine tuning). I also needed to hold about 20kg (44lbs) and I needed an Acra Swiss quick release system. at the ball head. I chose Al over CF as I wanted a heavier tripod for more stability in windy conditions and it's a lot cheaper (bonus). The quick release is easy to use. It's extra security so the camera doesn't fall out on its own... The ball head works very well and is very durable, which is exactly what I wanted. I believe you can turn it into a monopod, I haven't tried it yet. The legs are easy to extend and retract.
