Review on Bormioli Rocco Ypsilon Wine Carafe by Joe Fulce

Pretty nice design. Very solid feel. But of the 2 I ordered, one was broken into many pieces and the other had 2 small (but deep and noticeable) scratches on its neck. Normally, this kind of lead-free crystal is not easy to break. bubble wrap package. But I think the problem was that they put two of these in the same box. It's really nothing special if two packages wrapped in bubble wrap don't bump into each other. They had some non-recyclable branded airbags, but the packaging wasn't tight enough to ensure the two items were kept separate. The scratches on the neck cannot have been caused by transport. They were there when the item was packed. And that's disappointing. But I kept it anyway.
