Review on πŸ§— Top-Performing Tenaya Tarifa Unisex Rock Climbing Shoe: A Must-Have for Climbing Enthusiasts! by Eric Smithlin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Uniquely soft toe feel. Confidence is inspirational.

I like them very much. In the arc they seem more aggressive than live. When it comes to climbing shoes, the most important thing is suitability. So, I will describe it. I bought men's size 9.5 (US). I wear the Nike AIR MAX 9.5, which is relatively small compared to other running shoes. I may be US 8.5 in some boots. My legs have very little arching. The heel is relatively loose compared to the rest of the fit. I have an old pair of (laced) Five Ten Stealths that I loved. I tried on a size 10 at the gym and it didn't quite fit. The arch of the foot pitched differently and the toes seemed to flex differently. Just sharing what a difference it seemed to be the size smaller. 9.5 is definitely not close. I'm good at wearing them to the gym, but I definitely wouldn't run long distances. If you haven't seen them in person, they are unique for two reasons: - Softer feel on the toes. This is very comfortable for me, as other climbing shoes with a thick and stiff rubber cap initially feel good. But I've found that they can become "clown shoes" pretty quickly. - the inner layer. I love how the laces fit. However, I had to tighten the knot to keep them from unraveling. I tried a pair of Tenaya Tanta Velcro Straps and after climbing, the snug fitting and rubberized toe box proved inadequate.
