Description of πŸ§— Top-Performing Tenaya Tarifa Unisex Rock Climbing Shoe: A Must-Have for Climbing Enthusiasts!

ASCENT & PROGRESSION - Founded in 1997 by Yosemite vet Jose Luis Garcia Gallego, Tenaya is famous for designs that blend performance and comfort without sacrifice; Tenayas are worn by pro climbers worldwide, like Chris Sharma, Alex Megos, and Ramon Julian, and have helped advance the sport on championship and record-breaking ascents. TENAYA TARIFA - Technical and comfortable, the unisex Tarifa excels in sport climbing on rock of all angles, from powerfully overhanging routes to technical walls and delicate friction slabs; Max precision is enabled by curved form on overhanging rock without sacrificing efficiency on vertical walls or friction holds. AGGRESSIVE & COMFORTABLE - Perforated upper increases breathability while the tubular-shaped bellows tongue provides a glove-like fit and superb control; Unique and precise lace-closure system maximizes the transmission of force, while leaving the rubber-coated toe-box free of impediments for marginal toe-hooking. TECHNICAL SPECS - Uppers: Microfibre; Closure System: Lacing; Tongue: Lycra two-layer and bidirectional; Lining: TXT treated cotton; Insole: 2D multi-layer Stretchtex; Midsole: Double midsole GI 1.8 & TST 150; Sole: Vibram XS Grip 3.5 mm; Weight: 340 gr; 100% Vegan; Designed and Handmade in Spain. TIPS FOR SIZING - Climbing shoes fit differently with every brand and each unique model; Personal preference of tightness (based on climbing style, terrain, and comfort) is the biggest factor in determining the optimal shoe size; To start, Tenaya recommends downsizing 0-0.5 sizes from your US street shoe size for an all day fit and 0.5-1 sizes for a performance fit; Tenayas are constructed with synthetic materials designed to limit stretch, making sizing more predictable and consistent

Tenaya knows what I like.

I'm a tall guy with big feet so finding shoes is a problem. Tenaya has shoes in sizes for people who are even taller than me! Tarifa was great, I got stuck in the gym with small crooked feet which I struggled with with other shoes. But I used them for about a month and a half (3 days). per week) noticed on the left boot that the edge of the soul began to detach from the frame. Not what I expect from a $170 shoe.

Uniquely soft toe feel. Confidence is inspirational.

I like them very much. In the arc they seem more aggressive than live. When it comes to climbing shoes, the most important thing is suitability. So, I will describe it. I bought men's size 9.5 (US). I wear the Nike AIR MAX 9.5, which is relatively small compared to other running shoes. I may be US 8.5 in some boots. My legs have very little arching. The heel is relatively loose compared to the rest of the fit. I have an old pair of (laced) Five Ten Stealths that I loved. I tried on a size 10 at

Very satisfied: shoes

Mostly comfortable shoes. My left foot is a bit bigger than my right so they get a little tight on big foot days. Size 13 Street and 11.5 fit perfectly on the right foot. I've been climbing for a little over a year. My starting shoes were 5.10 Rogues. They definitely upped my game with their edging ability. I get a lot more power on small holds. The rubber isn't as sticky as the crooks, so I messed up a few holds before forcing myself to really focus on what I'm doing with my feet before taking
