Review on AMD Processor Wraith Cooler YD1700BBAEBOX by Janis Janis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Since childhood, Karoch wanted a top-end processor, it doesn’t matter intel or amd, the main thing is not to amd, but there is such a price and I decided that amd is not so bad for the money. Then I looked at some tests, the difference in gaming between i7 8700k and ryzen 7 1800x is about 10-20%. I thought that 160 or 140 fps would not be very important for me, because my hdmi cable does not give out more than 120Hz, besides, for the price of i7 8700k you could buy two ryzen 1800x, that is, I thought it would be better to spend 30k on a percent and a motherboard than just a percent, because this way the weight is greater, the volume is greater, there are more boxes, it seems like I save the norms. Well, in general, I bought it, assembled it, put it on top of noctua nh d15, overclocked it to 4GHz for all cores, the voltage was 1.35v, and everything seems to be fine. Games run, do not slow down. But of course, the temperatures were upset, here amudeshniks often whine: Intel has snot under the lid, hot prots, etc. So before that, I had an i3 8350k, I scalped it myself, this is a very interesting activity, by the way, and under the same cooler it heated up to a maximum of 60 degrees under stress tests next to the battery. Where is he hot. Of course, someone will say: there are only four cores, which makes it very hot, and the fact that it was overclocked to 4.7 GHz could have been more, but it made little sense. And here we have 8 cores, 16 threads and it’s worth launching something where the load on the percentage reaches 30-40%, the temperature jumps to 51 degrees, the coolers see it as 71 degrees, they begin to imitate an airplane engine and seem to be trying to take the system unit there where it's cool. Again, there will be a smart guy who will think: so why didn’t you calibrate the coolers. So, I calibrated them, just if they don’t rotate like that, then the temperature of the processor will jump even more, and then more. And with these settings, 4.02 GHz and a voltage of 1.35v under a stress test, it keeps stably 64 degrees, with an offset of 84. So think that intol or amude is hotter.

Pros
  • Price for 8 cores 16 threads, bought for 14780. (ryzen 7 1800x).
Cons
  • Temperatures are tough, there is an offset of +20 degrees, so at the slightest load and the processor temperature rises to 50 degrees, the coolers perceive it as 70 degrees, they start spinning furiously so that the guy does not overheat.

I don't know yet, it's too early to say

Its pros: Reliability, power, drivers Some cons: In games like CP2077 at 4k max settings it can become a bottleneck.
