This short handled brush set is really good! After washing the brushes and using them twice, absolutely nothing flakes off, the aluminum tips hold up tight and are not cheap tips that bend very easily. They are ideal for painting intricate details and as they can be used with acrylic, oil and watercolor paints they are versatile for any artist, professional or beginner. This gives you easier access to your brushes in the art area. I love brushes but the case is phenomenal. The paint rubs off very easily as the material the case is made of is PVC oxford cloth so it looks a bit dull but easy to keep clean because of it. The included lanyard is a great addition, you simply open the case and pull the lanyard until the case is just where you want it. And then of course you can wrap it around the pool lock to keep it in place. In my opinion this is awesome. I would definitely recommend this, especially given the current retail price of $12.97 you get a lot of quality for less than $13.
