Fits straight onto my 2005 2500hd. Connected the parking lights to the light switch. The right side was tightened with a pair of washers to allow the mirror to adjust properly. The headlights are bright, the glass lights are decent. The top mirror is slightly blurred in the right mirror. Still an upgrade from my cracked accordion mirrors. Would probably buy again.
