I loved this air purifier so much I bought 2 last summer during wildfire season. 6 months later (this week) I needed to buy an EMF monitor for a new health device and for fun I bought two to compare and walked around my apartment with both to see if there were any high levels of radiation. I expected it to be close to 0 except when the microwave is running. Would you believe this tiny cleaner emits 45x more EMF than when it's right in front of the microwave (when it's on) and right in front of my giant counter? The more expensive EMF monitor was off the charts! My microwave hit 22mg; This device, tuned to the second stage, absolutely outperformed the more expensive EMF monitor at 999.9 mGs! I can't imagine what the actual number is or what it would be if I went to level 3. I am shocked and also a little outraged. I sleep a few feet away because I have asthma - EMF levels don't drop to relatively safe levels until you're about 6 feet away! This is incredibly dangerous and the company needs to let customers know about it! I will return the money for both devices. I have a Dyson cleaner and a larger Levoit (the one with wifi and color coding) and they don't register any EMFs at all. I'm not sure why these smaller devices perform so outrageously, but the problem for me is that I slept directly under a device that emits 45 times more radiation than my microwave.
