November 7, 2020 - Updated Rating - Updated to 5 Stars. The company has a customer service department in California that answers the phone within 2 rings every time I call. I spoke to Ron for several minutes, who was about to send a technician to fix my hood. He spoke to an engineer who explained that my issues could cause the hood to fail and they sent a full replacement overnight. Ron inspected the unit himself prior to shipment. I will install on Monday. It draws a lot of air, which is what I wanted. I had 1 month from my return date with Revain and the company followed their policy without hesitation. I understand that quality assurance sometimes overlooks things and I admire the fact that the company is doing the right thing. October 29, 2020 - Initial Rating - 3 stars. The Good: It's powerful and attractive. Seems to be a decent device for the price. I'm not a fan of the color of the 5k LEDs but that doesn't matter as I will only be using this bulb when cooking. The Bad: The hood I received had quality control issues and the screws holding the motor mount and fan cover were not tight. . Initial testing of the unit resulted in the fan housing spinning wildly, causing loud fan grinding and flapping.
