Maybe I should have read the instructions instead of throwing them away... But it shouldn't be that hard. First, it has a clock and an alarm, but no buttons to set them. Can he connect to a computer? It has a battery, but I can't say it doesn't have a battery indicator. He's got a weird frown on his face because of the temperature. Is it a battery indicator or just showing it's too hot in here [current temp 79 degrees]? The humidity monitor/hygrometer doesn't even always show the current humidity. For some reason it sometimes marks "LL" instead of a number. I have another hygrometer for another room that always has a number. There are so many more questions, but I really don't care about the answers. This thing should be simple and intuitive, but it isn't. Normally I would try to understand that... but I have too many other things to do that are much more important than this stupid thing...
