I had a Moto 360 so it's not my first android watch but it might be my last. If it's a direction. When you buy a watch, you need it to tell you the time. Every other feature is valuable, but if it can't tell you the time quickly and easily, none of these other features are worth it. To conserve the watch's battery life, Samsung turns off the screen and then turns it back on when you make a gesture that shows you're actually looking at the watch face. And if this feature worked, it would be a great feature. But unfortunately it is not. I often have to gesture 2, 3, sometimes 4 times before the damn thing wakes up. About half the time I want to read the time I have to turn the bezel or press one of the buttons with the other hand. That's exactly what you want to do when you've got your hands full, you're driving etc. At least that's what Samsung engineers should think, as I see complaints all over the internet going back as far as the S3 and even the C2. So this has been a problem for quite some time and Samsung doesn't seem to care about customer complaints to fix it. no particular reason that so at all. As I said, I've been wearing Android watches for a number of years. My Moto360 battery is dead right now and I thought I'd get a newer, updated watch instead of opening the case on a device that wasn't designed to open the case. So alarms and buzzes are normal for me. But this clock buzzes, I look at it and it says "No notifications". I think this watch has lost its silicone spirit! All in all very disappointed with the watch in about a week. The battery life is phenomenal compared to my old Moto, but in terms of functionality, this watch is a complete letdown. I'll probably get it back in the next few days if I can't find any workarounds for these functional issues.
