I use this to check the temperature when making soap. It's easy to use and easy to read. It's also a lot of fun to photograph random things and check their temperature. I haven't done specific accuracy tests like using it in ice water but to make sure my oils and lye solution is between 5 and 10 degrees. works perfectly.
