I needed to add a third monitor to my desktop to make it easier for me to work from home. The only problem was that my desktop computer only had one additional HDMI port, so it could only support one external monitor. My desktop computer has two USB 3.0 ports, so this adapter was just the thing. I've previously bought another USB to HDMI adapter from Amazon and it worked fine, it was low resolution and I had to restart the app every time I restarted the computer for the third screen to work. With this adapter, the standard resolution was even higher than I wanted, I had to reset the resolution lower. Overall a great purchase, quick easy setup and a crisp display.
