The quality of the stand is not the highest. There are some sharp edges and corners that you may want to smooth out before you start using it. I have circled them in the attached photos. I covered them with tape and felt pads. Although I like the size of the laptop stand. I use it for my old 13" MacBook, which is a bit thicker and heavier than the new ones. The little stand is perfect for picking up your MacBook when it's on a bed or sitting in a chair so it doesn't overheat. So I decided to keep it despite the minor imperfections.
