I've been baking bread myself for a few years and I've put off buying a container like this because I had other equipment I could use that worked, albeit not perfectly. . I finally healed myself and I'm glad I did. This is a very high quality plastic, transparent like a bell and easy to clean. It does not discolor or retain odors like cheaper plastics. I mainly use mine to rise dough. They're a great size for two loaf or four baguette batches, which make up the majority of what I bake. Measurement markings on the side make it easy for those who don't trust their gut feeling when the dough doubles. I am satisfied with this product and recommend it.
