Singer did it very well. It has everything you need for sewing. I just bought a new suit from Amazon and the pants were unhemmed. So I got this kit and it did everything. My only suggestion would be to add a pincushion to the kit. Also, it would be nice to have pins with a bead on top instead of straight flat head pins. I would pay $2 more for this upgrade! There are no instructions on how to use the hem tape (I didn't have time to sew it on before the wedding I was going to).
