I have several OREI splitters and find them reliable. They're great for splitting outputs to multiple HDMI displays, but are slightly larger than some competing splitters. The only issue I had was splitting the computer monitor output between multiple devices (monitor, switcher, HDMI extender). When I was using this device, the computer had trouble recognizing connected devices and randomly dumped output on the display (as if nothing was connected). Computers use the EDID to identify the connected device and configure it appropriately. It is not clear how/if this splitter supports EDID. I bought a splitter from another vendor that copies the EDID from one of the ports and it worked great. This device supports HDCP and is ideal for distributing the HDMI output from one source (e.g. DVD or cable TV) to multiple televisions.
