Update 04/2017: I noticed that there was a row of scratches on the right side of the screen protector and I noticed that this is where I usually run my finger over the screen. side of my finger. I never expected my fingernail to be enough to cause this as I have small hands with short natural nails. The rest of the case is solid and offers the necessary protection. I have owned several much more expensive Oxxxx cases over the years. Unfortunately, while they were advertised as durable, they didn't prevent the phone from breaking even after light falls on soft surfaces. This was the first try for this brand and I am very happy with it. The case is solid, but not too bulky and heavy. I wasn't sure at first about the screen protector in the case, but it works well. Sometimes I thought it had a clear scratch, but after cleaning it wasn't. I usually keep my phone on a flat surface or in my pocket. The case has enough weight to make it easy to tell it's in my pocket, but it's not heavy enough to be a nuisance.
