works perfectly! until you accidentally throw a small ring on it

I got this for my mum - there's a removable ring inside which apparently you MUST HAVE or it won't work. So when you open it up and tap the bin to shake things out, this little ring pops out - she didn't know about it, which is why it broke after her first use. I offered to buy another one and she said she didn't want it. because she just forgot about it and did it again - like that. maybe it needs some work.
