Item arrived and looked good until it was time to put the pump assembly in the petrol tank. One of the two plastic connectors attaching the pump to the tank broke, leaving the pump only partially attached. (I was tender ---- cheap fragile plastic) Worse happens. The pump apparently had an internal problem that was causing a high-pitched crunch that could be heard through the back seat. I have bad hearing so I didn't realize it until a friend told me. The pump wasn't powerful enough to start the car with less than 1/8 tank of fuel. Unfortunately, I found that these problems were due to a faulty fuel pump and my car stopped in the middle of a very busy intersection and would not start. After towing, I checked my fuel rain and it was 0 psi. As I took a piece of dirt out of the gas tank and shook it, I heard a metallic rumble in the pump. Be sure to check for a faulty pump by checking fuel pressure, checking for knocking, etc. BEFORE driving the car.
