Bought xx-small, x-small, small and medium .X-small fits my 3.5 year old who wears 3t.X-small fits my 6 year old who wears 6.Small fits my 8 year old Kid wearing 7/8. They are all fit, baggy and have room to grow. We kept the environment at bay. If you want a tight pair I would go down a size from my suggestion above. Thin, unlined pants are the perfect mud pants. You have a cargo bag. Velcro ankle straps.
