Review on πŸ›’ Light Oak Wood and Iron Taylor Logan Kitchen Serving Cart with Wine Glass Holders - Shop Now! by Brandi Patel

Well built and sturdy, but a bit cheesy, like a lot of fake industrial stuff.

I live in an old school building with a lot of shabby industrial furniture, so I've been raving about fake industrial furniture for a few years now. Some seem almost authentic, some less so. It's less authentic (I think laminate shelving is easy to clean, but laminated "aged" wood looks about as authentic as all the wood tiling that's been so popular in budget motels lately), and the pristine, flat black finish looks like a base. On the other hand, assembly was easy and the construction is solid and sturdy. So if you replace the laminate with real wood and want to slap the metal a bit, that could be pretty cool. Car. The rails are a bit poor but you can leave them on if you want - the holes look pretty good. The bottle rack on the lower shelf can also be removed; but the glass shelves are not removable. The wheels are smooth and durable. It also works well on my old uneven concrete floor. The scale is quite small so if you mix it with industrial/commercial furniture it will likely appear dwarfed which is an issue I have. But in a small house, this would be a more appropriate scale. It doesn't work in my living room, but it would make a nice compact utility cart in my print shop. Solid shelves are welcome for small items. I would give this 4 stars as a small utility cart (like I use it) but only 3 stars as home furniture (what it's for).
