I bought this as a 'universal' remote control for my new Roku Express for my living room TV. I previously bought one of these for my Roku Express bedroom and was pleasantly surprised to find that it also controls the TV's power and volume! So I bought it a few months later when I was replacing the Roku on my living room TV. Unfortunately, the company that makes this remote seems to have changed the way it works. It still has volume buttons, but I couldn't get it to work with volume or power on my Sony TV in the living room like I did with the LG TV in the bedroom. I went through all the instructions and tried to "learn" the button functions as shown in the manual - no luck. I also emailed the company - no response. I looked at the back of the remote and compared it to another one - they have different model numbers although they appear to be the same remote - the old one is RR-ST. -01 and the new one is RR-ST-01.2 :-(2 stars for a working Roku remote. But I already had one. This one does no more than the original remote.
