Review on CPU cooler Deepcool GAMMAXX 200T, blue by Momchil Vasilev ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

General: I gave the price and silence (there is a 4-pin for speed control) the only four points. I used it to replace the old Intel boxed cooler, which had a 3-pin connector and made airplane-like noises without a speed control. Installation: It is unfortunate that the mount is not entirely made of metal because they could have done better. I put a piece of plastic on the board and started fitting the radiator by feel. The larger of the two metal clips for fixing, I noticed, does not fit; it rests on the system unit's power supply unit. The radiator's metal retainer, which is secured by four bolts, needed to be unscrewed. The huge clip was turned away from the top (power supply) and toward the bottom (video card) when I rotated the metal latch 180 degrees. generally pushed the radiator outward. After twisting the metal latch, I was unable to determine if the radiator plane entirely covered the processor because the metal latch is not symmetrical. Initially, when I tried to unfold the fan, I discovered that the radiator plates were really thin and easily bent. It later turned out that the fan was a one-sided fixation. returned unchanged. Temperature: I assumed it to be an E8400 core pair. 34 to 40 degrees are present during startup and 42 to 50 during operation. I ran CPU-Z's stress test for a few minutes, and it warmed up to 54 to 55 degrees. 850 to 950 revolutions per minute. I added my own MX-4 paste in addition to the paste that was applied to the %. I can say in silence that it creates noise beside the power supply, and it's difficult to tell whose noise is which. If you put your ear close to the fan, you can hear an odd noise. It makes a fan-like rustling sound in the distance. I compared the 3610QM laptop, which is quieter because it is in energy-saving mode. When the laptop is loaded, it creates more noise than the system unit with the Gamma 200T, even though the system unit has a sufficient minimum speed. Compared to 4770K + Noctuna NH-D14, E8400 Core Duo + 200T is quieter or performs at the same level. Not to lie, the temperature at 4770K + NH-D14 is less than 60 (51-59) degrees and is around 28 in idle and under load. Maybe there were more signs, but I just mention the ones that stood out.

Pros
  • Price, Quietness, and Design (aluminum radiator retainer can be deployed)
Cons
  • Construction is fragile and the metal fastening clip is not oriented in the proper way.
