Review on 🗺️ Garmin Europe NT - UK/Ireland City Navigator SD Memory Card (010-10691-00) by Andrew Britton

We used this in our old Garmin Nuvi in Ireland in August 2018. For the most part it was accurate and very helpful. Several inaccuracies we found related to the construction of a new road in the last year since the database was created. These were rare. Of course, you'll need to use some of the same "tricks" that most GPS devices require. This takes you to the shortest route, some of which includes single lane country roads. Use it along with the roadmap. If you don't want to follow the cow trails (which can be fun and scenic), add waypoints on major roads (those that start with R, N, or M). However, this device can get you to some small places that the street maps just aren't detailed enough to show. This is particularly useful when crossing Ireland's hundreds of roundabouts. When entering or leaving a city, you can pass 3-5 roundabouts per kilometer or two where you need to look for signs to guide you. The GPS will tell you to take the third exit onto the R135, which makes things a lot easier. Also, be sure to try the "Attractions” option as a destination. Many addresses in Ireland don't use a house number, but if you look at the Poulnabrone Dolmen, for example, you go straight there. We are very happy to have brought our GPS with this SD card installed.
