The idea of clamping the ring directly onto the drill with a clamping screw instead of a set screw is a MUCH better way to do it. Potentially better grip, no wobble etc etc. However this set still has a way to go. The clamp screws have very fine aluminum metric threads, which is not a good idea. Also, the slit doesn't go down the collar far enough so you can't pinch the racquet "as is". I found that by squeezing the sleeve on the drill with screw clamps THEN tightening the screw was the only way to get the sleeve to grip the drill. It also helped that the screw was smeared with molybdenum grease. I'm going to make the groove deeper in each ring so they can bend more easily. They're pretty much useless as they look, but they have the potential to be great drill stops. Update 2/16/2018: I've now cut the groove deep enough on the 3's to allow them to flex more easily and that definitely solves the problem. I wish the bolts had bigger threads, just grease the threads and tighten gently.
