I can't find the Reebok strappy training shoes that were so popular over a decade ago. Designed to wear these shoes in everyday life, but can also be used as a weightlifting shoe. Compared to the old training shoes, this shoe is much lighter, the sole is thin but not too thin but very durable, similar to my adidas Powerlift but without the heel riser. The shoes are narrow at the bottom, similar to tiptoes, but much more durable. I only ordered half a size larger than my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly. The material is much thinner than the Reebok Royal BB4500 Hi-Top, but good quality leather from Vietnam is always better than leather from China, Vietnam or India. Generally satisfied but not as chunky as I expected, more like a boxing or wrestling shoe. They definitely provide more ankle support than chucks or expensive weightlifting shoes for squats/deadlifts/heavylifts, but without restricting the ankle flexion required for these lifts.
