Review on BRONZEDOG Leather Collar Collars Turquoise by Johnny Bowen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable genuine leather collars.

My cats have had them for over a year now. They hold up very, very well. Despite the occasional struggle, the collars look almost as good as the day they were put in. These were different brand replacement collars that lasted less than a year and were not leather. Real leather collars with buckles are ridiculously hard to find. We don't use cliffs after we lose a cat and its cliff remains. What attracted me to purchase was the fact that they are actually genuine leather and have a zip closure. The outside is smooth, treated leather. Interior made of colour-dyed suede/rawhide/crust leather. There is a slide loop that keeps excess tail down. Our little queen was dissatisfied with pink - she likes pink petals; it is fuchsia. I might go with light pink, purple, and blue options because I like colors that reflect cats' personalities. But the colors offered corresponded to our needs at the time. And I particularly like the turquoise in our ginger. The color will NOT fade. Very colourfast. There are no problems at all. And no untangling or grinding, but our cats get along great; seemingly unusual; So I can't comment on how well they hold their own between quarrelsome cats. When trying on, tighten until you can *easily* slide two female fingers under the collar; a male. Anything weaker will slide. Anything stiffer is too restrictive. If necessary, take an awl and make a new hole. That's one of the advantages of genuine leather collars - you can't ruin them by setting them up. Overall I am very happy with these collars. When it comes time to buy new ones, I hope we can do business with the same company again.
