I still wear them, but if you've been wearing Bierkenstock your whole life, they seem very similar. There are stitching on the top which is a bit odd but not very noticeable. The leather on the upper is significantly thinner, which can affect durability, but wasn't an issue for the first few weeks. In general I am satisfied with them.
