Review on πŸ”₯ Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminum Heatsink with PWM Controllable Fan by GeeekPi - Raspberry Pi 4 Armor Lite Heatsink with PWM Speed Control Fan for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B by David Dortch

Easy to install and very quiet

My Raspberry Pi Kit came with three heatsinks and a fan, but this fan was always running out of the box and was surprisingly noisy. This heatsink and fan combo was a great replacement for this setup. These thermal pads are less sticky than they could be, but some care has been taken to leave them in place. It required some minor modifications to the Canakit case to allow the Pi+ to fit back into the case. I had to cut off one or two of the retaining tabs and cut out the plastic clips that held the original fan in place. All in all, a full install + reinstall in the case took less than 10 minutes. The afterword of a prime number search showed that the supplied installation instructions worked perfectly the first time. The fan turned on and off as expected and was even surprisingly quiet, at least at lower speeds. CPU temp stayed at /below.
