Poor quality control

The combination of very good and very bad ratings for this product suggests that the manufacturer skimped on quality control and I seem to have an example. The first clue that I had a problem was the fact that the four inputs on the back of the unit, labeled 1-4, corresponded to the buttons on the front in the order 4-1. Oops! With that in mind, when I connected my three computers, the keys lit up as expected. However, the block requires the computer key to be pressed AFTER the computer is turned on. To make matters worse, the switch would often skip a line after being displayed for a while. Worst of all, it mostly happened with my wife's computer. Not suitable for home comfort. So back to my good old (20 year old) Belkin Omni. It only fits two computers but is very reliable and now my wife is happy again.
