Review on Merrell Men's World Vue Black Loafers & Slip-Ons by Rick Rogers

A few years ago I bought a pair of these older models (World Passport I think). I love them and still wear them. They are heavy, with thick soles and thick leather. Your foot feels very protected. Great comfort. I was going to buy another pair but they are no longer available so I bought these but this is a different beast although not a bad one. I love these shoes. They are comfortable but more suitable for business casual than for real walking or hiking like the previous model. I think to get close to the previous model I'll have to upgrade to something like the Jungle Moc or Moab, but I like the rectangular toe box on these and older versions of them. I bought a pair in black (black but with a nice gray sole) and a pair in dark brown (with a beige sole). The leather is like nubuck. They are strong and very comfortable. I'm glad I bought them.
