I have a Cygolite Metro Plus 800 and when I received CECO-USA I did a quick comparison of the two lights. At maximum brightness, the Cygolite scattered light a little more, while the CECO-USA was brighter in a concentrated area. The size and cases are very similar in size and design, with minor differences. What CECO-USA lacks is the mounting system. The CECO USA light was very difficult to get onto the mount and took a real effort to get it to click into place. The mount is a rubber band that doesn't hold up very well to the pressure needed to put the flashlight on and twists on the handlebars. In contrast, the Cygolite features a thumbscrew clamp mount that can be tightened so it attaches very securely to the handlebars and the light slides easily into its mount and locks firmly into place with no effort. While the CECO USA flashlight appears to be durable, I returned the flashlight for a refund due to assembly issues.
