Review on Samsung Galaxy A51 (128GB by Thomas Landis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You may need to correct your apn settings, don't worry.

I only had a Galaxy A50 for a few months before I dropped it and broke it. I didn't want to spend that much this time, so I chose Amazon. To my pleasant surprise, I was able to get an a51 on Amazon for a little less than I paid for an a50 at Walmart. I received this unlocked a51 to use in my direct talk schedule. It was a little confusing at first because LTE wasn't working after I set up the phone. After some research I found out that it has to do with the APN settings. To fix this problem, you need to go to settings. Then select connections from there. Then go to the "Cellular Networks” section and select the access point names. You will google the APN settings for the network you are using (I googled the APN settings for Direct Talk 2020). Once you get to the access point names in Settings and know what values to enter, click Add in the top right. Set the correct values. It is very important that after adding these values, you click on the 3 small dots in the top right corner and click save, otherwise you will have to do everything all over again. Make sure the correct apn name is selected after saving. I hope these instructions are easy to understand, but if you have trouble just google it. The phone has an AMAZING camera, both front and back. More than twice the megapixels of any other camera I've had. Images are crystal clear. With Live Focus you can take very professional looking photos while you are in the camera. The A51 looks a bit heavier than the A50. It feels more solid and robust than the A50. Sorry all my comparisons are to a50 but I don't really have any other comparisons. I've only had this phone for 2 days so I don't know all the features of the phone yet.
