Good volumetric performance but too loud for a small tank

So I bought this pump to replace the old pump in my 29 gallon Nanno Cube. The product arrived on time, the hose that came with it is a little thinner than the nylon hose I installed on my old pump. The hose was kinked. I just put it in boiling water and the tube returned to its original shape. After connecting the pump to the aquarium and turning it on, I found that the performance was good, but it was noisier than the old pump that came out of the aquarium. I'm going to the fish store this weekend to buy a new pump.
